I am a new graduate from Kaplan University medical transcription classes. I am very excited about my new career and would like to get started transcribing.

I have taken Medical Language, Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Transcription classes along with the Book of Style. I own my computer and I have a foot pedal that I purchased for school.

We are finally getting closer to having the problem fixed, but unfortunately, it is going to take more time.

The boards are back. Some of you have already discovered that because you got there in the middle of the night! <grin> I am on my way over to the boards to see what kind of clean-up needs to be done. I know we're back to an older copy of the boards, so we've lost things we'll need to put back. Thank you so much everyone, for your patience and , what is it that we work at constantly at The Andrews School? FLEXIBILITY! Each and every one of you has demonstrated that you've got that one.

SPECIAL THANKS to all our graduates, who have been such a great support system this week for the current students. I know you took time away from your work to be there in case you were needed. Thank you!

If you enrolled after the board recovery date OR if you changed your profile, added Grad or Grad Mentor, etc., you're missing. Glenda is working as fast as she can to put everyone back in. Rather than calling or e-mailing her, would you give it a few hours and try again. Then write to me this afternoon if you still aren't back on and I'll give her a list. That way she won't have hundreds of e-mail messages. Thanks!

Poor Glenda and Steve!! They must be going crazy.

The Transcription board is fixed. Now Glenda is working tonight to put people back in the system. She may not get totally finished and will do the rest tomorrow.

Transcription Board broke down again. Steve is on his way to see what's going on with it.
