I am filling in for someone and I can't hear him very well. I'm doing a simple H&P and this patient has loss of vision in the right eye only.

Doctor says: "It was totally in the right eye. There was no ________" It sounds like he's saying "imionopsy." I can't find this in my dictionary or online. I have looked up every spelling I can come up with. Does anyone know what this word is?

Ah, okay, now I found it!
hemianopsia, right? I totally wasn't hearing the "hemi," so it made it really hard to find the word.

I'm using older equipment for this job, but my DH hooked up his good stereo headphones and they are better than my MT headphones (who knew), so things are going more smoothly now. I still needed guidance on this word, though. I just wasn't getting it.
