I got accepted into a fall 2010 occupational therapy masters program. It is a 2-1/2-year program including summers. I will graduate in 2013.
For the past year I have been knocking out pre-reqs including Human Anatomy, Anthropology, Sociology, and Technical Writing. Fortunately, having a BS in Biology knocked out quite a few pre-reqs in addition to a semester after college that included two psychology classes, Statistics, and Physics. Oh - did I mention the Advanced CPR certification, art class, taking the GRE and 150+ hours of OT shadowing just in order to apply? All while still working. Needless to say, after quitting a couple of months ago I have been doing nothing but lying out on my deck suntanning and reading when I'm not watching a ridiculous amount of DVDs/movies of yesteryear that I never saw. Life's been great but I imagine things kicking up quite a bit once school starts in August.
Thanks for asking, Gisele.
