Prayer request for Rusty and me

Rusty went into Teen Challenge on Wednesday and Thursday they called me and said they were gonna let him call home because he was just having a fit, wanting to come home. They asked that I tell him no, they cant MAKE him stay, but as long as I back them up they will keep him. So of course I know this is best and I talked and encouraged him and told him no he cant come home right now. I havent heard any more from anyone. I did try to call Friday and just check in, the offices were closed because of the holiday, but Lyndsey did call me back and told me that she had not heard anything, so things must be goin well. I know in my heart and in my spirit this is the absolute best thing in the world for Rusty...but Im so sad and no matter how I try to blame it on being sick or tired or whatever, I know Im having a hard time with depression period. I just cry at the drop of a hat and I need prayer to get thru this too....so yall please just say a prayer for me and always for Rusty. These are the first and only people willing and able to help Rusty in all of his life, so I know this is gonna be oh so awesome in the end...just keep tryin to remind myself that just like I told Rusty, when God has something good in store sometimes its hard and we have to work hard and go thru the fire to get there, but its so worth it....so pray for me that while I know that in my spirit that it becomes real in my mind and I can relax and not cry lol. Thanks much...appreciate all the thoughts and prayers and encouraging words you have all sent me!! Love and hugs to all!!

I am sorry to hear your are sad this week. I can almost hear your sobs. I too have an empty house. After reading your post, I walked around my house trying to find some words to send. I will send you a prayer so you can relax.
May I also share these events. I watched a baby Blue Jay in my garden full of flowers, the young bird cannot fly yet. So I encouraged him to hop into a low tree limb so the stray cats will not harm him. The second item on the list was as a daily routine to find a new medical term for the day.
And last, have you seen the new glitter animations that are available. I found this website if you want to see. I do not know the rules for transfering, so I would like you to go to the website and go to the peom section and find the one you like best. The butterflys are nice too.

Thank you!! Things are much better. Our Pastor was out at Teen Challenge this morning and said Rusty was just grinning ear to ear and asked him to tell us that he loves us, not to worry and that he is loving being there...he said it was the best thing to ever happen to him and by the way the food is good too! Lol. Made me feel so much better to just know that he has settled in and is smiling and doing good!! Im glad you got the baby bird to hop on the tree and be safe!! I will check out the glitter animations, I love things like that! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!!! Hugs!

Just seeing this now, but hope and faith is all you need. You are all headed in the right direction and eventually you and your whole family will sit at Thanksgiving or Christmas and be thankful for all that you have accomplished.

Thanks!! Rusty called me Thurs and was just soooo great. Ive missed him and was so glad to hear from him and hear him sound so happy. He is working on his GED and passing all classes and is settled...just keep him in your prayers. I sure do miss him...13 more days till I can see him, unless they send him to the other T.C. for six weeks, then it will be longer. But Im thankful to have heard his voice and know that he is doing good!
