We saw Billy Joel 7/3 at Mohegan Sun in CT. My son got tickets for last night's show at Shea Stadium. My phone rang at midnight. It was my son. I figured he was calling me to tell me how great the concert was. Instead, I hear the above. We had had a conversation when we saw BJ at Mohegan about how much my son hates concert calls - but he knew full well that NOT making that call to me would be a serious mistake. He said the whole show was unreal. Mohegan Sun show was great - we all loved it - but this he said was amazing.
How more than appropriate that the last song ever played at Shea at a concert was played by the man who played the first song ever at Shea at a concert.
Way cool - my son is still on cloud 9!
Pretty decent video - sound was pretty clear. Well worth checking out for the Billy Joel and/or McCartney fans!!
