Thanks, Linda, Haggis & Ann. FYI, it's an AHDI award (although I still think AAMT in my mind). I was nominated by Brenda Hurley & Susan Dooley and their nominations were approved by an awards committee.

Not THE Ellen Drake. Hot dog. Hey, sweetpea. Ain't seen you since the Transquick or Rodeer or Medquist days. (Oh, forget it, I don't remember.) I just know I love you, and you will always be a shining star for MTs everywhere. Ok, y'all, let her take a bow. She is one of the greats. Yeah, man. So anyway all of this is in lieu of flowers. Congratulations. You truly deserve it.

It was TQ; I left when Rodeer bought TQ.
The banquet was very nice. I usually don't go to the banquet, but I made an exception this time. My chapter and my friends both gave me flowers--my house smelled good for a week! I felt like a real celebrity, and I so appreciate everyone, virtual and live, who have showered me with congratulations and applause. It really was an unexpected acknowledgement.
