Experienced MT pay?

We have a new cardiology account begining this week. We need MT's with at least 5 years recent cardiology experience or 10 years acute care experience. Sorry - must have this type of expiernece to be considered.
The account is clinic and has 40+ providers with light ESL. The pay will be 7 cpl. MUST complete 1200 lines per day Monday through Friday. Work begins about 12 pm EST.
I'm sure there will be a real stampede for this job. (It pays to be highly trained and/or experienced. Not.)

You forgot to red the 10 years (should be 10 years'). Unless I'm wrong about that.
I have been working 2 years and make more than that. I wonder if they have incentive bonuses or something.

You forgot to red the 10 years (should be 10 years'). Unless I'm wrong about that.
You're right, but I didn't "red" it because it was part of the bolded stuff (same with 5 years'). Didn't want to overdo it.

I'm with bippy; I make more than that and I've been with my company for only a year (working for 2). Plus, we have incentive bonuses, shift differential, and bennies!

lolol. It doesn't make sense to me "...at least 5 years recent cardiology experience or 10 years acute care experience" for a CLINIC account where most docs say this:
The patient came in today, all is fine. The patient will return in 3 months' time.
So much experience required for such an enticing rate of 7 cpl. For 20 years' worth of experience, I think they might offer 7.5 cpl.
I'm running now to apply...NOT.

Where is the best place to look for companies hiring now? I have 15 years experience in an acute care setting and have never worked anywhere else, except prn for some clinics needing temporary help.

With a group that size, I'm not sure I'd assume that it was run-of-the-mill clinic work. They could be university based, or they could have a stand-alone facility where they are doing cardiac cath, angioplasty, pacemaker/AICD insertion and EPS. They could also be involved in device/drug research trials. I could see more demanding experience requirements in those cases, but I'd be looking for considerably more per line, too.

That's really pathetic. Then again, this past week I had an inquiry from a clinic that wanted to know if I'd match their current vendor's 8.9 cpl rate.
