Hi people, everyone has concerns about the well being of their child I too have some. Lately, he is getting mad to get the abs (six pack abs as they call it). I don’t think that this is something bad but the ways he is trying is a bit crazy. He believes all that is being told to him and I can’t figure out how he can get them without training the right way with the right exercises. I think that I am being a little cautious but I need you people to help me finding a good way to get the six packs he wants with some good ways.

Thanks for taking time to read this and hope that you come up with some good suggestions.

Must be a fad right now. My 15-year-old is also crazy for 6-pack abs. He has been doing some weight lifting and abdominal crunches. When I took him for his physical, he discussed it with the doctor, who counseled him about his diet and exercise. He lost 15 pounds from his last visit a year ago - is now 6 feet tall and 185. Also, he's involved in football and they start 6 hour a day training sessions in mid-August. Have your son discuss it with a doc, nurse or physical therapist - they can start him in the right direction.

I have two teenage boys and the thing you have to remember is that teenage boys can get the six pack abs very quickly if they are not overweight (or any muscles for that matter). My boys are average to thin and if they get soft looking, they go to the gym and in no time they have their muscles right back. So gaining muscle tone quickly is not that difficult for them to do fast.
