How would I punctuate 'T wave' in this sentence: Because he developed new T wave conversions and had risk factors...
I read to use a hyphen when it is used as an adjective, but in this case, is 'T wave' an adj (or a phrase) or 'new' an adj?

You can have more than one adjective modifying the same noun; in other words, the fact new is an adjective doesn't mean T wave isn't one as well. An adjective modifies a noun and answers the question which, how many, or what kind of.
