This is from an internist, and he orders this on all his patients regardless of diagnosis.

CBC, s/l *corn-a-real scum-chi-bolic*, CPK, T4, TSH, vitamin B, EKG, and bone density.

This is a stretch from your s/l and I am assuming this is an ESL dictator. Try http://www.labtestsonline.org/ and search for *bolic. Check out the eighth search result and see if that may be it.

That was my first thought, but it was such a stretch from the s/l that I decided to wait and see if anybody else offered anything. At least I know I'm not the only one that thought that! \:\)

I hestitated to suggest it as well, but because if you say the term really fast and scrunch it all together, I can see where one could hear the s/l given by the original poster. We hear that kind of thing all day long some days, don't we? \:o I am glad to see I wasn't alone in my thinking.

Logic would dictate some kind of comprehensive metabolic panel, but if I heard the first part the same way you did, then I'd have a hard time getting "gonorrhea" off my mind. Reminds me of my college days when the University Health Service would run tests for STDs on everyone, no matter what their chief complaint was on presentation.
