I know I've heard this term, but am in a brain fog. Any help? This is a patient who had a cervical discectomy and fusion and had radiculopathy.

Thanks,
Amber

How about Leriche? Listed in Dorland's under syndrome: Fatigue in the hips, thighs,or calves after exertion, pallor of the legs on elevation, and absence of pulsation in the arteries of the lower extremities, due to obstruction of the terminal aorta.

You might be looking for "Lhermitte" phenomenon. The "Stumper Terms" at MT desk is a great place to look for terms like this.

Oh, yeah! I think the other Renee's suggestion is more probable!

"Lhermitte's sign"

I had and still have this...

I had two cervical spinal fusions about 5 years ago.

Whenever I bend my head and look down toward the floor, I have a shock-like sensation that I feel through my abdomen and the inner parts of my thighs.....

When I presented with this "sign" and other symptoms -- the doctor said he knew before he examined me that I had compression on my spinal cord in the cervical spine region.
