Hi. I'm in south central Missouri but I don't currently work locally. However, I did work for a local medical clinic affiliated with our local hospital, and I made the kingly sum of $8.50 an hour. So your .13 a line is amazing to me. The company I work for now is in New York and I make .08 a line. I'm considered an independent contractor and what we transcribers don't pick up at the end of the day gets picked up in India. Not only will I never get a raise, I may even have to settle for a reduced rate down the line.
You say they supply the paper but not the ink. I am assuming you use a laser print as opposed to an inkjet?
I think if they are pleased and don't balk at your asking for a raise, go for it. Whatever you think you're worth.
