It has been a while since we said "hi" to each other. I'm still typing away here in the Sumner/Lake Tapps area. How's everybody doing? Keeping busy?

Hello everyone! If any of you were at the Yakima WAMT conference, I hope I had a chance to meet you. It was a wonderful event and I really enjoyed the presentations and the comradery. I'm a new student in Seattle who just beginning my studies with M-Tec. I hope to meet more folks in Redmond for the Greater Puget Sound chapter meeting in November.

I live in the Tri-Cities area (just another 60 minutes or less "down the road" from Yakima). I really wanted to go to the WAMT in Yakima but couldn't because of financial issues -- then it turned out we had to be out of town anyway that weekend :( I really enjoy those and am sorry I missed it. Maybe next year! I doubt if I can sneak away to Olympia in November. The passes might be nasty then \:\)

New to this board. I live in Bellevue and am taking coursework through Career Steps (via BellevueCC). I'll be starting the transcription portion this week and am having anxiety about it. This site was recommended on a CS forum by one of their graduates, so I thought I'd come and peruse the wealth of info. Anyway, saw this thread and thought I'd say hello!
