Lolabet, be careful with expanding that abbreviation. There are at least two different common meanings (I have one account that actually has trascriptionist instructions not to expand it unless the doctor specifically dictates it in full)

Srinath, you might wish to read the topics that are at the top of this forum. Generally, we don't provide direct answers to questioners - instead, we guide them in how to research their answers themselves.
You might also want to check the dates on posts before responding.
I actually don't expand this unless it is very clear which one they want. They are actually different procedures. I'm pretty clear that when there's an abscess, incision and drainage would fit. Other than that, it's anybody's guess.
